Use wide depth of field

10 Tips for Mind-blowing Landscape Photography

Shoot with a tripod

If you are going to use wide depth of field, you will probably need to use small aperture and therefore faster shutter speed. It means that even the least noticeable camera shake may ruin your shot. Consider using a tripod.

Keep something in focus

Sometimes it’s very important to frame your pictures and keep something in focus in the foreground in order to give your shot more volume and depth.

Don’t forget about the sky

Remember that every landscape shot must have a dominant. The sky can easily become one of it. However, you should never use flat sky as the dominant of your photo. If this is the case, try to give more importance to the foreground of the picture.
